How do I get a extension on city taxes?

I have to pay city taxes but i don't have the money right now.

What city?

Go to the Department of Revenue website for your city and download an extension form. For most tax jurisdictions, however, filing for an extension only gives you more time to file, not more time to pay. Look on the Department of Revenue website for your city for payment plan information.

Normally though, an extension is just to file, not to pay, so you'd still owe penalties and interest on the amount you didn't pay by the deadline.
