Hi,i'm from india.i want to know that if i buy anything online from other countries do i have to pay taxes. |
if i were to do an online transaction on ebay do i have to pay "import duty" for that.please help me I run a small business in California and when someone buys on line from a different state or country they do not have to pay California sales tax. Consequently I do not charge sales tax on all orders outside of our state. I checked with California authorities about two months ago regarding this issue. Hope I answered you question. You don't have to pay the source country's taxes, only those imposed by your own country, which could include import duty (customs) charges and sales taxes imposed in India. Try contacting your nearest office of customs & excise for the information. yes ! if you spent any single rupee for purchased. it will taxable as per incometax india |
