Will jackson hewitt offer the holiday loan for 2007? |
Will jackson hewitt offer the holiday loan for 2007? No they aren't. HSBC bank which always funded the loans for Jackson Hewitt and H&R Block have quit offering this product. H&R Block is offering a "line of credit" for prior clients only. They opened their own bank last year but it is still small, so they aren't able to offer as much. Like I said, you must have had your return prepared by H&R Block in 2005 or 2006 to qualify. The line of credit is up to $500 and there is a $30 charge for it. I believe it starts on December 10th. Check a local office for more details. probably no The bank that was offering those loans, HSBC, decided to no offer them any more due to heavy fraud losses last hear. At the present Jackson Hewitt, H&R Block nor any of the other companies that offered the Holiday loans have any plans to offer this product. The two banks HSBC and SBBT that provided those type loans have declined to continue with that program. no, i received a letter in mail saying that are not offering it this year and they gave me some coupons i can not use. |
