Can you return items you purchased from Goodwill?

Can you return items you purchased from Goodwill?

I'm pretty sure you can but you only get a "credit" -- not cash back.

No refunds, exchanges only!

normally no

yes i think its fourteen days with receipt but each one might have different rules

ROFLMAO... cheap cheap cheap

ummm I don't think so I would try though.

nope..because they say it's not from there store:(

you can donate it back to them.

only cheapskates return stuff to a thrift store

EEWWW just re donate them you wing nut!!

if you know someone and save the receipt.

How is this a tax question?

Their policy should be written on the receipt or you could call the store to ask them what their policy is.

Yes! You can re-donate just about anything! I don't think they have a refund policy though. So don't embarrass yourself.

Yes, you give the items back, and they sell the items again. Whatever you give them you must give freely and without reservation or secret muttering.

If Goodwill is the same as the Charity Stores (Op. Shops) here then no. Here the shops have signs that say "Choose carefully. The goods are second hand and do not come with guarantees". However having said that, if it just not working, you can ask. But it is up to them if they say yes or no.

Generally you can exchange the item (with receipt) but no cash refund. It may depend on your local store policy.
