I have two children a 2 year old and a 1years old and I've never filed taxes, tell me how?

I don't work so I'm soooo confused...

What country are you in? If it's the US, basically if you don't work, you don't have any income, therefore you have no need to file taxes. How do you support yourself and two kids with no income though?

Check with local social services for direction on this . visit IRS.gov website
u may have a credit coming ur way.

If you don't work, there is nothing to be gained by filing a return. Both refundable credits are based on having earned income. Earned income is defined as wages/salary or self-employment.

If you don't work, where is your income from? If it's from gifts, child support, welfare or workers comp, for example, those aren't taxable so you wouldn't file. Some disability payments also aren't taxable, although some can be.

Or if for example you live with your parents and they support you, but don't have any income yourself, then you don't have anything to file on.

If you have income from alimony, interest, dividends, or investments, then those are taxable and if your income is over $8750 per year, then you are required to file.

If you'll post again listing where the money is from that you live on, someone can help you on whether you need to or can file a tax return.

I do not think that somebody has to pay taxes for having children
