I purchased a computer fromFinancing Alternatives, and they were dedu? |
cting the money from my checking acct and now I cannot geta hold of anyone does anyone know if they are just scaming people for money? Gee, I think that's very likely. They've got your money, and you don't have the computer, and you can't get hold of them at all. Humn, sounds like a scam to me. How did you happen to get involved in dealing with them? If you have anything from them that gives a physical address I would notify the Attorney General for your state and the Attorney General for Financing Alternatives state in regards to them. That might be the only way to get some/all of your money back or get the computer (although I'm not sure I'd want a computer from them in this case. It might not work, or might have a virus built into it that would give them control of your computer without you knowing it). Are they based in Virginia? I found an article on the internet about a Financing Alternatives based in Virginia that deals in computers, and problems that someone else had with them. I've attached articles for you.
