If you are illegally evicted how can I find a good lawyer? And this has to do with Taxes - General how? Please ask this in the proper section. The best way is to talk to your friends and find out who they have used and what they thought of their representation. This is true regardless of why you need a lawyer. Recommendations are the best indication of a professional's performance. If you don't know anyone who will recommend a good lawyer, then usually your state's bar association has a referral service. It is listed in the Yellow Pages. I have dealings with several lawyers and my experience is that they want to take your money and do nothing for it. And they all overbill. Check with your local government and see if they have someone that can help.
