How would I obtain a copy of my 2005 tax return if I've lost the original?

How would I obtain a copy of my 2005 tax return if I've lost the original?

With the form linked below you can get a free transcript of your tax return. If you need a copy of the return you can get one by filing a IRS Form 4506 however there is a charge of $39. If some one prepared your return like a tax professional you can contact them and they will be able to print you a copy.

Duh, request it from the IRS They will send you a copy.
Go to your local IRS office, or call/email the IRS.
Contact the IRS and they will send it. There is a small fee.
Call the IRS and request a copy - it costs $39. If all you need is the info from the original return, ask for a transcript instead, not an actual copy - that's free, and is enough for most purposes.
