Do i have to file a tax return for my business even if no business was conducted?

There were no transactions at all for my business. it is a sole proprietorship DBA.
How do i close it?

if it's a sole proprietorship you would report any activity for it on your personal 1040 income tax return on a Schedule C. Since you had no activity for it, don't bother with a Schedule C as part of your 1040 return.
How is it set up? Did you file Articles of Incorporation with your state?
I'm an accountant
