Andrew Jackson? |
How he became a hero? What made him to be hated by people? What good and bad things he did for the U.S.? Was he married and had children? How and whe did he died? Andrew Jackson was a military General during the War of 1812. Most people didn't like him because he was basically a redneck and did what he wanted when he wanted it. You either loved him or hated him. He didn't like the First Bank of the United States, and purposely let the charter expire, plunging the US into a fiscal crisis and a panic. He was married, but his wife, Rachel was still married to her other husband at the time. They had to get remarried a few years later. I don't believe they had any children, but Rachel died soon before he took office and that made him bitter. He died right after he left office at his home in Tennessee called the Hermitage. |
