Can you explain the current tax rates applicable in Murcia Spain and how tax is collected.Does spain have PAYE

We are looking to take home 3000 euros per month how much more will our gross pay need to be to cover taxes.
Is tax deducted at source as in the UK or do you pay your taxes annually.
Does the tax system have allowances and at what income do you start to pay tax.
How do you calculate your tax bill do you need an accountant to verify your tax payable.

I live in the Costa Blanca and there are several things you need to know regarding your questions.
1. You pay tax at source, the same as in the UK.
2. The tax system does have an allowance structure but depends on each individual band (depends what job you do)
3. You will need an accountant (gestor) for sure,
unless you want to enter into the minefield yourself (not recommended, even in the UK)
4. email: jjarquet@icae.es he is my lawyer and works in Elche in accountants office, they could probably help you.
5. I don't know what work you do, but earning more than 3000鈧?a month or more here you would have to work bloody hard to get that kind of income! I've lived here 15 years and don't know anyone who earns that!!
Good luck.
