How to open a bank account in BOA for an alient?

hi,
I want to get a checking account with BOA(bank of america). But I live in China, and I can't go to US physically. So can you help me to get my desired account? If you can help me, plz contact me. tangxx8511@yahoo.com.cn

Bank of America do not open up accounts for non-resident aliens unless they have their branches(BOA) in your country.

However, the Bank of America account from a BOA non-US counterpart is not a US-account. It is not a part of the USA branches and is bound by the legal terms in the designated country.

I dont think anyone can help you establish a US account (from BOA) unless you become a legal US-resident and live in the US (have a US address). Tourists with tourist visas in the USA are also not allowed to open up accounts according to banking policies. The US Patriot Act also provide stricter guidelines on the banks in the US to open up US accounts to foreigners.
