Left handed market?

Being left handed myself, I am interested in finding out how many left-handed people feel inconvenienced by products available to them. I have considered opening a business of left handed products.1. How many people do you know that are left-handed? 2. what are some of the obstacles you face because of it? 3. Do you wish more products were available geared towards lefties? 4. Any comments or suggestions?

I personally have a problem with can openers both electric and hand held, backwards measuring cups, tried to use a small chain saw one time and about killed myself, school desks, spiral notebooks, smudges from writing, ATM machines.......

I am a leftie, and about 6 of my friends, and my 2 uncles are lefties, thats all i can think of right now, but, i always get pencil smeared on my hands. Those desk/seats are dominantly rightie-styled and so are scissors. Computer(i dont know if youd use the word mice for this) but you know, theyre made for righties, i guess, but ive learned to use my right hand, but the buttons are meant for a rightie to control! There are so many things. And also how people just make the assumption that everyone is a righty. I hope i helped! If i think of anything else, ill post it. And i really like your idea!!<3

Here's an answer from a southpaw. One of the most inconvenient obstacles for me is a salad bar. The ladles are usually made to drizzle dressing from the left side of the ladle, meaning that someone picks up the ladles with the right hand, scoops up some dressing, and pours it forward onto some greens. If one uses one's left hand to handle the ladle, this is awkward! When I go to a salad bar that has ladles that pour from either side, I feel considered!
