Where is the best place to go for a TOTALLY free web page?

I would like to post a small web page for my craft business, but since I'm sort of 'just starting' in the area of 'public marketing', I really would like to try to avoid a site w/monthly fees....

Alot of my items are 'special order' based, so I really wouldn't require a site that has the online shopping feature...just something simple to post a few pics for samples and some contact info...MAYBE a 'contact me' feature for direct email?

I've tried searchin...but it's becoming an overwhelming task since this will be new for me....I'd like to get some personal first hand suggestions if possible?
THANKS!

Since your items are handmade, try selling on www.etsy.com . It is only 20 cents to post, and the listing stays up for 4 months. They take about 3% of your final sale price, plus whatever Paypal takes it you use them. Although most items are already made, I've seen people sell their services, like one gal would make buttons for you with your image. Check it out. And if you have a blog, you can link your etsy store to your blog as well. You can take a look at my blog and see the layout. motherbliss.blogspot.com good luck!

There's no such thing as TOTALLY FREE hosting. People offer hosting as a for-profit business. Sometimes, web hosting services will offer a free web page, but certainly not without you first paying for hosting. If you want a completely free website, start a blog.

Start by checking with your online provider. Most online providers provide the opportunity to build yourself a website. If they do, utilize that.
