Mate, get 10 students and charge a very reasonable 拢10 an hour. teaching 10 is the same as teaching 1. you still only have to say the point once its just 10 ears will receive it rather than 1. I'd pay 拢10 an hour if the teaching was good.
Build a reputation for yourself get more tutors under your management take a cut and grow from there.

Erm Whilst in a different field, I have two doctorates and taught for 30 yrs both in the public and private sector, most student lecturers I know don't make that kind of money per hour. seventeen to twenty five is more realistic at the lower level, forty and up in the upper levels. If you charge this amount you won't get many takers. All depends, are you going to specialize to keep to one area eg conveyancing or political law etc or be general. You have to decide for yourself.
The most important decision is catchment area, not where you are based but where you advertise. Research is vital in setting up any business, i.e. supply and demand.
If your based at home the you'll need to contact the Inland revenue an declare self employment, they will send you a guide which is invaluable, in setting up a business.If you work through an agency they will take care of most of the details.
