What kind of domain name does ".name" stand for?

I want to set up a website ending with .hk or .com.hk, but my hosting company don't have such a choice for me to choose from to register. The only choices are .com, .net, .bs,.. and .name for me to register. Is it that if I choose .name, it can allow me to further choose domain names like .hk, .us, .ws etc.? Thank you in advance.

The '.name' top-level domain is intended for people's personal identity domain. I.e., the '.name' is for YOUR name -- http://www.johndoe.name .

It will not allow you to also have .hk or .us also. Note that the '.name' TLD is not yet in common usage.

.name is a tld , you cannot choose anything further
