I need some advice about using Paypal?

Hello,

I want to start taking commissions and I would like to accept payments through Paypal. I looked at the website but I couldn't really understand what I was looking at, so I have some questions:

1) Do I need a credit card or bank account in order to use paypal?

2) How much does it cost?

Any other advice you can share would be most appreciated.

Log onto paypal.com, create an account. Since you will be accepting money you will need a bank account. Then verify your banking information with Pay Pal. It as easy as establishing an account with Pay Pal. However, you need to stay on top of the passing time to verify your bank account. It can take up to 5 days. Your account is verified by Pay Pal making a very small deposit to to your bank account. After you see the deposit, you send an email to Pay Pal as to the amount of the deposit. There are lot of people establishing a new account, so after 48 hours I recommend you contract Pay Pal and let them know you want to verify your account. Pay Pal will respond quicker. Stay on top of this! It's your money! Pay Pal is very widely accepted as a much preferred transaction method. Most seller on EBay will not accept any other payment method. Money transfers with in minutes and is documented by email notification.

Well you need some form of credit/debit card or bank account to pay for things. If your accepting money, you will need a bank account because how will paypal know where to put your money?
