I want to sell the purses I make to local boutiques.?

Is is alright to make cold-calls?

Remember this sales mantra (better yet tattoo it on your arm):

Know what you are selling! You are not selling purses, YOU ARE SELLING MONEY!!! The boutique owner wants to know how much money they can make.

Cold calling is a powerful tool but you don't want to leave your "beautiful" purse to the imagination. Get the purse in front of them, let them touch and smell it.

Purses are a commodity and in general cold calling just won't cut it. You are going to have to hit the pavement and go bang on some doors.

Well if you want to sell purses you make to local boutiques yous should go in and talk to the owner and if no one wants to take you on then you should start your own business online or from your home you'll make more money that way hope it helps!!!

Yes, cold-calls get the business... You have to believe you have something to sell that's worth buying. You have to believe you have to right to have your product in that boutique. cold-calls get more success than planned appts with the owners.
