What can i do to make some money?

im home for winter break and no one is hiring me...i am going to go crazy, i have a month until i go back to school, and I am going to be home all day!
I cant even volunteer, i called the local hospital and they said theyre looking for long term commitment and they need training and stuff...
what can i do to make some money, or pass the time? any ideas ? greatly appreciated!

As far as volunteering goes, go to the churches in the area and see if you can do something that does not involve contact with children because the background check will take to long. It depends on what you are willing to do.

Do any of your neighbors have businesses? Volunteer to file or clean out a store room.

For Money? A little harder. Does anyone need to be tutored for a couple of days for the next two or three weeks? Charge a flat fee and take on a family for 2 hours three times a week. Throw in some arts and crafts, music and games to make it fun. Present this to someone on the block. You both will benefit. Good luck.

hm...go work at a place with a "now hiring" sign...most likely fast food place

sort of in same situation myself and agree it really sucks . not sure what to recomend as its a really tough time of year.

might be able to find something short term in fast food or retail depending on where you live . or even a ski resort if you live near some as its there busy season

Fast food is about the only answer.
