What is a good online job?

I have spend hours looking for somekind of online job or a link to finding jobs for stay at home mothers. A lot of them are untrustworthy and a person has to pay to get information, like a list or something. Is there anything ligitimate out there?

If you live in the US, I can help direct you to some reliable sites. If you have to PAY - it is NOT a job. The reason why you don't find legit sites when you go out and do a search for jobs online, is because most of them do not need to advertise as they get people through referrals of others who have worked for them in the past.

Even though many people post links in their answers, it is strictly prohibited in the Terms of Service here on answers, sooooooo ... if you go to my profile and click on the link to my blog, scroll down through the comments, you will find two links to reliable information and companies. I really prefer the women for hire site the best as they also give a whole lot more information on other topics also.

I worked for one of these companies as a virtual call center rep doing customer service. I was paid an hourly wage during training and then a bit more when I went 'live' actually talking to customers. I enjoyed it very much.

Just as a note of interest... any site that claims to offer jobs, but also touts making $20-$30 an hour, especially the data entry type 'jobs' - are scams. Real job sites will expect you to fill out an application, go through telephone interview processes, etc ... just as though you had applied in person.

You need to look for a real, reliable, recognized, big and legitimate company wich you can join. You dont have to invest in this company. The more/harder you work the more money you see. In this company, its all up to you.
