Does anyone know of any non-scam work from home data entry jobs?

I am looking to get into home data entry but I am having trouble finding any that aren't a scam. If anyone knows of anything it would be a great help.

I wrote a blog on advice for working from home. There is a LOT of information in it that I learned the hard way and it is all generic. You can find a link to it in the 2nd paragraph of my profile here.

Some quick ways to tell if a site is legit (which is also in the blog in a bit more depth) is to look at the site itself. Is there a contact phone number? Is there a contact us page that has something actually more than just an email form fill-in. Can you tell what it is about without having to give any of your information?

Someday the scammers will get smart and make their pages look a lot more professional, but big cars, big text, big COLORED text, hype, etc... these are legit. Data entry jobs that want to charge you $ to receive 'training" or cover the handling of getting you the information, come on - they are sending it electronically, what's the cost to them?

Always remember that a JOB you would apply for on line should be no different than applying for locally. There's supposed to be an application (no fee), an interview, clear and concise details of WHAT your duties will be if hired, etc... not some vague 'you'll be processing applications via email and must be able to respond promptly to all requests'.
