Opening a small business that will be related to Cleaning Cabins, etc...?

Is there anybody who knows about Cleaning services?

I had a plan of opening a small business. I think the Cleaning services is the best one? What u think?

Above answers are good. I would only add that if you do go into business keep on top of accounts receivable. Small businesses have a tendency to let their customers "slide" on paying their bills because they are so happy that they have a customer.

Just remember that a customer is of no value if they don't pay the invoices you send to them. Don't keep on working for the client if you are not paid.

Best of luck to you.

It could be a good one in your area, but make sure that you lay down the proper foundation for your business even though it's a small one. Take a look at the book "Small Time Operator", see link below, and also look at what Nolo Press has to offer in the way of legal self-help, see other link. Definitely keep it simple, but you should be thinking about serious business issues and have some clear policies in place when you start. Being organized and serious will help you do well and avoid problems down the line.

I was just reading a few days ago that cleaning services are 'very hot' businesses to do, but as someone else mentioned, do some research before you jump in.

Having been a previous 'traditional business' owner before, I can tell you customer acquisition at first was difficult at best. I would not recommend doing a bunch of 'on line' marketing for your business right away. Yes, you may want to have a website built, but people are not going to swarm to it just because you put one up.

You said 'cabins'. I would presume you live near an area where there is a lot of potential 'cabin cleaning'? If so, who cleans those now? Is it done in house or contracted out?

Because I suppose you have not invested yet, you might want to check on potential clients first. Not only are there cabins to consider but office buildings, etc. I am sure you will need some sort of 'bonding' or insurance against damage, etc... accidents do happen sometimes.

I have a friend who has a small business in PA doing this at night. I don't know all the details, but he makes enough to pay his bills.

I would suggest some foot work and book work first and then decide if it is the right thing for you.
