What would be a good thing (or things) to sell when starting your own small business?

I'd like to start my own small business. I think I'd like to start off very small, like renting out a cart in a mall or something. What would be something that would sell well? I was thinking accessories for women or something like that. I would like to earn a living off my small business and hopefully it would have potential to grow into something bigger. Does anyone have any good suggestions of what kind of business to start. I will have some capital, but not a ton, so I would need to start a business that would not need a ton of capital to start with. (I was thinking I'd have enough capital for 4 months initially)

Best to maybe find products that are not currently being sold in the mall.?
I would focus on what the consumer wants not so much what you like or think might sell without some kind of research.
Of course you have to deal with the mall management to make sure once you have picked what products to sell that it will be allowed in any contract you may sign.
