Is it illegal to create a website for on-line business when you are 13 or 10 years old ? |
Me and my cuz , aged 13 and 10 , want to set up our own website to sell our handmade beaded creations . But I heard that you have to be above a certain age to do that . Is it true ? And if it is , what age is considered legal then ? i think its ok, but you cant take creditcards online without one of your parents co-signing. you may also need an adult for the business license if you get one. try using paypal for online payments. Not at all. Read the COPPA act of 1998. It'll tell you all you need to know. No, not illegal. Good luck. You may need help from an adult for payments. Depends on where you live (which country) No, it's not illegal. i think not.i have make 15websites now...but i can't understand that its free on me...is this a glitch? No. However, your both too young to enter into contracts. You'll both be liable for paying taxes (if you earn above a certain amount.) Other than that, go for it. it is not true because some of the youngstars have there own website too.but in some cases u have to b' above a certain age to do that. |
