Im creating an e-commerce. What to know? law related to cross-border trading...?

Hello all,

I am currently creating a e-commerce...mostly will be selling in the US and Europe. Are they some specific crossborder law i need to be aware of? does the company need to also be registered in Europe? how do i go about declaring revenue in each country. I might be missing the "Look outs" please help if you already have been through it.

the best place to check laws for cross -border trading is with "customs" Depending on what you are trying to carry,I find it easier to contact the manufacturer of the items you are wanting to import / ex-port directly.
I sell camping and hunting items, I had a customer in Canada who wanted to buy a rifle scope. He contacted me to find out if I could ship to Canada, stating that other suppliers could not ship there (the rifle scopes) So I just called the manufacturer of the scopes and asked them,. they were very knowledgeable about the subject and told me I cant ship scopes to Canada.
As for "duty fees and taxes" when I ship out of the USA I ship with "all taxes and duty fees paid buy receiver"
I have not had any problems.
UPS has a good online service, when you fill out your own shipping labels online, They also automatically include all forms you need to ship out of the USA.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
