I am a full time employee in Singapore make > $250K per annum. Does it make sense to do engage a professional accountant to help me with my tax planning so that I pay as little tax as possible?

Yes, probably you should. As based on $250K per annum, your taxable income is as most $220K if no relief. You will have to pay big amount of income tax.
