Is The Cleveland in Redmond a nice place to live for someone new to the area (and working at Microsoft)? |
I am taking a job at Microsoft in Redmond soon, and I am looking for a nice place to live. The Cleveland looks nice on the Web, but is it really that nice in person? Are there other places close to Microsoft (within 5 miles) that are comparable/better? It is in a nice area in downtown Redmond! It looks really nice in person as well and is located near a lot of good shopping options, mainly those being the kind for basic living supplies, but Redmond Town Center (it's a mall with "shopping" shopping) and a number of other shops and restaurants around. I don't actually live there, but work in Redmond and am familiar with the place. yeah avoid redmond at all costs its filled with snobs and microsoft jackasses......Live in bellevue/kirkland area if you can otherwise there really isnt much out here. good luck hopefully you enjoy your time and your bosses arent douche bags |

I know of one class that you might be interested in at Tacoma Community College. It was designed for people who are thinking of buying or selling an existing business. But I think it would also be... There are many good employeers in the area. Microsoft and Google on the East side of Lake Washington (of course) are solid employeers with outstanding compensation and benefits.
