Is there anywhere in the Seattle area where I can buy dry ice? Here are two places in Seattle that sell dry ice: Yes, check the seafood dept at any major grocery store. Try looking in the yellow pages for ice houses, also look for dry ice. If all else fails, call your gas and electric company. They have sources to help their customers during power failures so they do not spoil food in home freezers. Most grocers will have dry ice, but not advertise it, if you ask at the meat department or the seafood department. For that matter, you can also get it at places like the Pike Place Market, though I've only known it offered with purchases, not tried to purchase it separately. Albertson's and QFC def have it as I've gotten it at both grocers. |
