In Public Relations, what is an easy way to track radio spots/hits? First, you need to know what radio stations you sent your news release to and you can follow up with the radio stations. CISION provides a means to track broadcast hits (formerly Bacon's Media Directory) and should be able to help. Locally, you should have a clipping service in your area and all they do is clip from newspapers and listen to radio. You will need to give them a time frame and key words. You can look in the telephone book, on-line or call your local newspaper and ask them if they can give you the name of a news clipping service. Their is not a way to track radio spots they make educated guesses. |
