How long will a pawnshop hold my stuff?

my stupid bum of a brother borrowed me ipod and guitar and nintendo ds and pawned them about two months ago. he promised he'd get them out in two weeks but nope, its been about two months. i rarely see him now so im starting to get worried. how long will they hold on to the items?
because if he doesnt get my stuff back im going to take all of his stuff.

They should have told the person pawning them how long they have to get them back. I would go to the place and just ask them general questions. like how long do you hold an item, if I can't get it back in that time, do I get any discount to buy it, etc...
Then get your brothers stuff and pawn what you can, and throw the rest away.

Usually a pawn shop will hold the item from 30 days depends on which company( mom and pa shop) but you have to make payments to get your items back but if they don't hear from you most likely your items are already sold.

2 months...it's likely gone unless it is not very popular.
pawn shops are required to keep items for certain lengths of times like 14 days or something so that the items can be checked by police and prevent stolen items from being sold and not traced back.
I guess you learned not to trust your brother.
I'd get over there soon to see if the items are still there and maybe make a deal with the owner.
