Single mom wanting to apply for section 8 does anymore know how to go about applying? |
they accept section in my apartment complex in north miami but i have no idea on how to go about applying .....anyone know anything? Go to the County Human Resources or the Public Assistance office. They will have applications. When you submit your application, you may need to include pay stubs and electric bills for up to the past year. i would try your local welfare office. they should be able to help you Community action, helps with section-8 also if they have funds, They will help you to buy a car, a used one, the grants are from $600.00 to 1,700.00 , Don't forget the, ( Stimulus Package ) From the government if you received over $3000.00 from working or Social Security Disability, or call Department of Human Services, for more information. Check the goverment pages of your local phone book for "housing authority". That is where you need to apply. Some are online & you can download an application or at least get their phone number and address. |
