I don't know if I should buy a house to rent out? |
I am going to buy a house to rent out. If i get the right tanets what could go wrong? Would it be realistic to buy ths house if i would have to sell it in about 1 to 2 years. As there are costs of buying and selling. Would I have to pays any taxes if so how much? thanks If you're going to buy a house, you should expect to wait 4 to 5 years to sell it, so you can at least get your money back on it. You would have to pay various taxes on it, but I couldn't really tell you how much they would be. Unless you need to shelter income, purchasing a home to rent for two years before you sell, is a really bad move. This may have been a good move about three years ago . . . but the market has changed. |
