12 month lease? |
we have a 12 month lease and we haven't moved in yet can that lease be broken and we move on to another house or we still have to pay rent for that house? A lease is a contract, if it's signed, both parties have to agree to break it, maybe for forfeit of deposit or even an additional fee. Your best bet is to ask the owner/management company. They might have more prospects to rent the house and will be willing to work with you. better read the fine print on your contract...if you break it you will still be liable to pay...never sign a contract unless you read it all..trust me i work for a car finance co.. If you signed the lease, you're obligated to live up to the terms of that lease. If you break the lease, you're still responsible for the rent covered by that lease. |
