What are the extra cost that you can come into in forclosures???

what are the extra cost that you can come into in forclosures??? are they worth trying???? i like that there more affordable but are they really??? they may seem affordable until extra cost?? i know there could be unpaid property tax.. but is there anything else i need to worry about?

Pay for & have the most thorough home inspection you can.

Many do not want to make it any easier for a bank to sell the home they just lost & do all kinds of things to make it difficult.

Other vacant REO homes have been vandalized.

It is also hard to obtain financing from a bank if a home is in too bad a condition.

Any liens or back taxes will be cleared at escrow

repairs, code violations, open liens. What you are buying is a pig in a poke so bid accordingly
