What about home loans? whats the minimum age on that? if you're able to prove that you're earning on a monthly basis. i believe 18 I don't believe there is an age requirement....i mean I would think you have to be 18 =) It depends on the state you live in. Also if you have no credit you will have to have a co-signer who is "of age" and has good credit. In my state a minor can own a home. but it will ultimately depend on the laws in the state you live in. Check with a realtor in your area preferably talk to a broker.
