Price of a realtor? |
Hey guys, You are getting great answers! Yes, your agent will be paid for by the seller, but make sure your agent is more concerned about you and not the commission. Buyers agents are paid by the seller, but sometimes the seller wants to pay less commission so the listing agent will take a listing say at 5.5% instead of 6%. Thus, offering only 2.5% to your agent. Your agent having control of the buyer may only show you houses available offering 3% and you may miss a good one because the sellers is offering only 2.5% and they lose you as a buyer because they do not know better and...............some smarter sellers may offer 3.5 or 4% to the buyers agent and this is get your agent to push you to those homes. So, go with your gutt, if your agent is pushing one house too much and you do not like it don't buy it. Love to help you if you have any more questions. It should not cost you. Buyer's agents get 2.5% to 3% commission for bringing you to a house seller. That commission is paid by the seller, not you. Realtors work on commission, so nothing out of your pocket per se... You're just going to be paying more than the house is worth so the seller can pay the realtor(s) and get the profit they want out of the house.. When you buy Realtors are FREE!!! When you sell, they charge you 6% |
