If Prince Georges County, MD is supposedly the "richest primarily black county" then why are there so many poo |
why are there so many poor people, people who can't find jobs, and why is there so much crime and the housing so expensive??? I am serious. I mean at least in other states like Kentucky or NC there are areas with decent cheap housing and there are nice people and no crime and decent schools, e.t.c., but in Prince Georges County ANYTHING that is even remotely "cheap" (i.e. a 1 bedroom apartment for $750/month) is in a bad, high crime area. And there are so many poor, low income people and a waiting list for years to get on public assistance. So how is it that PG county is supposedly the "richest primarily black county" when there are so many poor people and people like me and my dad who can barely eat because we can't find jobs??? And why do there have to just be black people?? My mother was white, so I want to see white people:-( It makes me sick to sit here and think that people may think I am rich just because I live here when I am really poorer than people in the poorest counties:( Why don't you move if you're so unhappy?? Not saying that I don鈥檛 sympathize w/ your situation. However, the economy is rough for anyone who does not possess an undergraduate degree regardless of where you live, besides that the price of life is going up and will not go down; whether it is in the wealthiest predominantly black or white county. If you鈥檙e so unhappy I would suggest you move somewhere you can afford b/c it seems you are falling victim to such squalor b/c of your financial situation. $750 is not bad and slightly below average for the northern east coast. |
