I need some help with a 30 day notice... ? |
I currently live in an apt and will be moving soon, I need to provide my 30 day notice and I'm just not sure exactly what the appropriate wording should be. Make sure you date the letter and if you can either deliver it via certified mail or deliver it in person and get a signature of reciept, that will help prove when it was delivered, if you ever end up in court. Dear Landlord: "Please let this letter serve as notice that at the end of 30 days, I will be leaving these premises. It has been a pleasure to have rented from you, but I must unfortunately give my 30 day notice of leaving. Please note that as of ______, 2008, I will be leaving. Please contact me for any follow-up that may be needed. Thank you. |
