Has anybody had any issues with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage company??

I am just curious b/c my mom has been talking to them over the past few months b/c we haven't been able to make our payments and they kept telling her that there are programs, but there was nothing they could do, but yet they have sent letters telling her about hese programs, but when she would talk on the phone to them they told her there was nothign she could do. I am just curious b/c now that we got the foreclosure notice it says that there are ways to stop it from happening, but it's like why didn't they tell us about these so-called way BEFORE this happened. Anyways has anyone else had any issues with Wells Fargo?

well when i was with wells fargo,i also had gotten notices, but they were pretty good about letting me pay them late.( but i did have the late fees) and also one of the programs they had me do was what i owed they put it back into the loan.( which i had to pay smaller payments,) but instead of my loan only being 20 yr.etc. because i had already payed some yrs.off on the home,i had to start the loan over,at 30 yrs.but at a small payment. there are programs, but you cant pick which one you want to do.they tell you which program they will give you,and to them you either take it,or they forclose,??? hope this helps.

Wells Fargo, and any other regulated lender, is giving you notices indicating that there are ways that you can delay and even stop foreclosure. They are required to do that by law. And, in their favor, they really do want you to come current with the loan rather than foreclosing. But they are a lender, not a social work agency, and that is as far as they are willing to go, probably as far as their board and stockholders will let them. Exactly what your options are will depend on who you are and what your situation is. I still don't have the details on the foreclosure and sub-prime assistance programs. I suggest that you look in to them and that you consult with an attorney regarding bankruptcy, negotiating a deed-in-lien of foreclosure, or attempting a short sale.

They should be able to work out something. Make sure she is calling the number on the letters and not just customer service. Getting a hold of the right people are the key when dealing with large corporations. If they do not work with you, I would suggest hiring an attorney to do this for you.
