If your lease says they pay for heat but you have electric heaters who pays for the electric heat?

is this false advertising ? because they do not specify. it just says they pay for heat.

That would be a question I would ask before signing the lease, and get the answer in writing.
If there is no heat source, it is reasonable to assume that they might pay for electric heat. But, you gotta check.

You probbly have gas heat, which they will pay per your lease. But your electric heaters will go to your electric bill, which you probably pay.

does the place have furnace electric or gas or oil then they pay for it.
the electric heater r urs so u pauy.
contact u landlord and get this clarified with ur lease.

If the house or apartment has a permanently installed furnace that heats the house, then that is what the landlord is obligated to pay for. If you are using portable electric plug-in heaters not provided by the landlord, then that is your responsibility. I would ask the landlord exactly what paying for the heat means in the lease agreement so you understand.
