Just got my first apartment and WOW is packing a lot of work!?

I'm moving into my first ever on my own apartment Saturday, and I'm currently working on packing up my stuff. Who knew a person has this much stuff! It didn't look like that much until I started putting it in boxes... so any advice, tips or just some moving cheer to help me get packed?

nothing makes packing fun! lol. But unpacking is kind of fun, because you get to put everything where you want it and how you want it, so that's exciting. But to make packing fun, nothing really comes to mind. Just try to crank up the radio to your favorite songs (you know the ones, the ones that are 10 years old but you can play them on repeat and never get tired of singing and dancing!!!) and just dance and sing loud as you are putting everything away. It'll atleast help time go by some and you will be exercising, and exercising never hurt anyone!!!

If you are moving across town, use trash bags to loose pack clothes. This eliminates buying boxes and strapping tape. Just be absolutely sure you unpack them immediately.

In a separate box/bag, put bedding, towels, toilet paper and light bulbs and put this in your car's front passenger seat so you don't forget it. If the apartment isn't furnished, your first item of business is to set the bed up.

If you don't need it throw it away. There is nothing worse then packing then unpacking the worthless crap!
