In a 2-story house, is it hard to keep both floors the same temperature? |
Seems to me that the 2nd floor would be consistently warmer than the 1st floor by at least 3 to 4 degrees. Where 72 is comfortable and 68 is not. Yes. Although it should not be too difficult to balance the heating and cooling between floors it seems that the so called expert installation companies rarely succeed. For this reason it is common to have two separate heating and cooling systems, one for each floor. at exaclt the same temp? yes. warm air will flow up and cool air will flow down. the downstairs will generally be cooler. |
