What should we do if the new HDB house defects were not properly handled by them?

Got keys from HDB last month, is located somewhere near Tiong Babru. Went to have a look, have some much defects all over.....feedback on the defects, till today only some was done,but was badly done.
There was also another issue. One of the lady staff called us, fixing an appointment for us to meet the door contractor the next day as we want to change the door. When we were there we were extremely pissed off to find out that the lady and the door contractor were not around. She鈥檇 never showed up. And so did the door contractor. Waste trip.
Thinking of looking for our HDB officer in charge but always cant get him thr his direct line.....So how shld we proceed from here? Shld we look for MP in charge of that area or email / call a higher mangement?

How long you have live in Singapore? Many foreigners had commented Singaorean like to make complaints, but in this world highest paid Government country, if you don't make a complaint, many things will not or may take months to be done.

Just gave a personal example. 6 months ago, my passport was stolen. As it's the second time I lost my passport, thus ICA refused to issue me a replacement passport. The reason given was they need to wait for Police investigation. 3 months passed, even after the Police had replied me, ICA still gave me the same reason. And everytime I called up the office, I will ended up being referred to no where....
Until I made a complaint to Ministry of Home Affair, ICA staff called me the next working day, and asked me to go down to get a replacement passport ON THE SPOT! Mind you, I don't need to wait for 3 days like other who apply for a new passport, in fact only about 1 hour, my passport was ready...how efficient? Yes, but only after a complaint.

Singaporean like to complaints? Yes, we have no choice, if you want to make thing done.

the lady that you mention, is she a staff from HDB?and are the door contractor from HDB too?i guess you need to make another call to them and make the complain, why don't you just get your own contractor instead, you can get list of renovation contractor at this site 88db, they might be able to help you solve your house problem
