What is the average base salary for people in texas? |
what do they make a year usually whats average i guess is what iam asking so i can know what to expect Texas is a huge state. Houston has a few million people in the southeast on the Gulf Coast. The Rio Grande Valley has a million or so people in Cities and Farms right at the southern tip of Texas. El Paso is way out west in the Mountain Time Zone with a very large population. Odessa, Midland, and Lubbock are in what most people call West Texas with a lot of Cattle Farms and oil money. Amarillo is only about 300000 people but it is the only large city for over a hundred miles in any direction and way up north in the Pan Handle. Dallas/Ft Worth, Arlington, Denton, Wichita Falls and Waco are in North Central Texas. Austin and Round Rock are in Central Texas and have government and computer jobs. San Antonio is huge and sort of close to Mexico. You also have the Piney Woods, The big Bend, The Hill Country, the barrier islands of the Gulf Coast. |
