I got delivery confirmation on an item i sent out and....?

when i enter in the number there is no record
and when i call the number provided there is no record

so either the mail man didnt scan it or my package was stolen from the ups store where it was dropped off

what can i do about this? i paid for delivery confirmation for a good reason- very expensive item i was sending to the person

and now she says she didnt get it
and i have no proof that she did!
because delivery confirmation has no records

i have reciept of delivery confirmation-slip still
so i have proof

You need to take your proof of reciept of delivery confirmation slip. Advise of the situation and hopefully you insured the package because that is how you would recover the loss of the item. Otherwise you are likely only to receive the funds back for delivery confirmation. I always insure my packages as you just never know. It's worth the peace of mind. Good Luck! - Shell
