I live in AZ and worked as a temp. you can always go to "Kelly" staffing and be a "Kelly Girl". They are the most popular temp agencies in the world. I always liked it because it was something new all the time, but I was alway working full time. And if I didn't like the job it was no stress because I knew I wouldn't be there long.

Contact the area temporary agencies, that should get you into a paying position even quicker than going door to door filling out applications and dropping off resumes.

They'll let you know what they have available, they'll give you the interview and they will hire you for the position.
If the company you temp with offers a permanent part/full time position they'll offer it to you directly.
