Keep in mind that to prepare for your cosmetology license you need 1250 hrs. All cosmetology schools offer the study of hair, skin and nails. However, there are some schools which offer more advanced training which would justify the tuition. As a former student and employee, I think that Burean Institute gives you the best deal. The tuition is the lowest and the quality of education is very good. Remember, it depends on you to determine how successful you will be in the industry. Empire Beauty school has a good curriculum as well as Jean Madeline Aveda Institute. The tuition's are a little more and the listings look good on your resume.

Remember: Complaints are the same at all schools. (Speaking from experience).

You must be open minded, willing to learn, study and seek advanced education after you have obtained your credentials.
