I am 25 and I want to retire?

i have no money, i am single, and i would like to retire. any suggestions?

Typical lazy American. And people wonder why the economy is in the dumps. Because there are so many people like you. Who believe you don't have to do anything to make something of yourself. Vote for Obama, he'll give everybody welfare and then the country will go bankrupt and we'll all be poor.

Good luck retiring at the age of 25. Unless you want to be homeless or somehow you come upon some major bucks i can't seeing you doing that now. i am 32 and single as well. I went to a financial adviser and he got me started on an IRA and helped me plan my savings so i can retire in the future. I suggest you do the same.

Did you mean to type 52 and not 25? Cause its not possible to do that at 25 without any money. And dont listen to the people above. Doubt any one with money would marry you and dont be on leech welfare. WORK!

You cannot retire and live at other people who are paying taxes to just stay alive now you tell me how you could do this. (on social assistance). NOT ON MY PAYING TAXES FOR YOU>

You're gonna have to put in some time into the system. I know we all want some quick path to wealth but there's no such thing. Its like that fable, slow and steady wins the race.

Even the wealthy had to work from the get-go. So here's what I suggest. Btw, I'm 25 too.

1. Get a job, any job. Find something that you like to do as a job. Maybe its working at a coffee shop. Maybe you want to be a graphic designer. Whatever it is, save your money, get out of debt, and always have control of your bank account.

Especially since you're a woman. You never want someone to hold the purse strings over you. My mom said that even if I met mr. right, I need to have my own money that no one else can touch. Get an ira so you can save up for your retirement and retire well.
