See see's Grandmother, finally a better understanding?

Hey i have a very simular situation as you had explained, whre in sears sold a debt to another collection agency and added accumulated fees like interest and late fees against my grandmother, she states that she increased the amount of payments each month to get the debt paid faster, even as i look in the Sears itemization report i find what shes saying to be true, thank God she requested the itemization report for the debt got sold to the other rcollection agency. Now as i type she has a lawsuit pending from this collection agency in the amount of about 3,000, when the principle amount owed was about 2,000. Me here grand son made a direct call to the collection agency and talked to one of the managers and tried to nagotiate a terms deal for a years time to get them there money, they denied me but yet agreed to let me pay them 2500 withen to weeks with out really having my grandmas consent. and the only reason i made this agreement with them becase my grandmother was talking like she wasn't going to show up to the court pre-trial, so i was trying to avoid here getting a default judgement against here. I cant't afford a lawyer and pay the debt how do i go about getting legal documents to represent my grandmother at the hearing. note (shes not really educated i read here mail for here, she raised me) ?

look worst case -- insure grandmother makes the court date -- you do not need lawyer -- the court will issue a payment plan against your grandmother -- you need to have a realistic monthly payment that you can make and also be prepared to pay court costs!!!
