I am about to graduate from college but have bad credit will anyone hire me???

I am 21 & have 20 creditors collections on my credit report & dont wanna pay one bcuz i will still owe 19 more pointless! How long will it take for those collections to come off so i can have a clean slate???
Also will anyone hire me??? (besides fastfood, retail, no jokes please) im talking about professional career as i will have a degree in criminal justice.
Will i just have to wait until the collections statute of limitations expire & comeoff my record to get hired at a great job???

If you work in a smaller office they probably won't run your credit. But if you want a gov't job or a job for a corporate company you'll probably have some difficulty. That many collections will show the employer that you are not very responsible and could be a potential risk if hired. Most likely you will also have some problems finding a place to rent if you aren't going to live at home. And those collections will stay on your report for 7 years.

The size of the company you work for would probably be the guiding force here. Smaller companies may not pull credit.

Why do you have so many creditors and why are you not paying them? If you used that credit and purtposely are not paying, that will impact your credit for a long time to come.

You may want to investigate bankruptcy as well.

Sorry college sure didn't teach u important things.
u owe so u need to pay cause u will pay in the end.
u can forget government even cities, forget financial, forget large companies most often.
look for mom/pops, mid sized companies.
as for 'collections status' it is restarted every time a new collections company gets ur past due account.
a bad credit report can increase ur car insurance , eliminate rental places.
take that fast food until u have a job for 2yrs and u will pay off what u owe. it is easier.
criminal justice degree isn't worth much with Bad credit in the real world.
